Balloon-Lift-Control (BLC) ist ein minimalinvasives, sehr sicheres und äußerst leicht erlernbares Verfahren zur präaugmentativen Ablösung der Kieferhöhlenschleimhaut. Unabhängig von der vertikalen Höhe des knöchernen Sinusbodens kann die Schleimhaut um mehr als 10 mm angehoben werden. BLC besteht aus zwei Osteotomen, durch die ein Ballonkatheter nach Impression des geschwächten Bodens in die Kieferhöhle eingebracht wird.

Balloon-Lift-Control (BLC) is a very safe procedure used for the pre-augmentative stripping of the maxillary sinus mucosa. It is minimally invasive. Independently of the vertical height of the osseous sinus floor, the mucosa can be lifted by more than 10 mm. BLC consists of two osteotomes and a balloon expander that is inserted into the maxillary sinus after impression of the weakened floor.
