The new bone graft substitute easy-graftTM CRYSTAL combines the successful application directly from the syringe with the advantages of biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP). In the bone defect, easy-graftTM CRYSTAL hardens to form a stable but porous bone graft substitute. BCP, the main constituent of easy-graftTM CRYSTAL, is composed of 60% hydroxyapatite and of 40% β-TCP; each granule consists of both materials. easy-graftTM CRYSTAL is especially suited for large bone defects and for defects that are threatened by atrophy after healing.
