Nach der Einheilungszeit (im Unterkiefer ca. 3 Monate, im Oberkiefer ca. 6 Monate)
werden die Matrizen in die Prothese eingearbeitet. Dazu wird die Matrize auf den
Kugelkopf gesetzt und mit Prothesenkunststoff in die Prothese eingeklebt. Alle unter sich
gehenden Stellen zwischen Kugelkopf und Implantat müssen dabei z. B. mit Wachs
ausgeblockt sein. Um eine zentrale Belastung des Implantats zu gewährleisten, sollte auf
jeden Fall darauf geachtet werden, dass die Matrize im rechten Winkel zum Kieferkamm
in die Prothese eingearbeitet wird, unabhängig von der Stellung des Implantats.
After the healing period (lower jaw approx. 3 months, upper jaw approx. 6 months), the
keyways are fitted to the dentures. To this end, the keyway is attached to the ball-head
and glued in place in the dentures using denture resin. All contact areas between the ball-
head and the implant must be given a protective coating using e.g. wax. To ensure that
the implant always bears the load evenly and centrally, ensure that the keyway is
always inserted into the dentures at right angles to the jaw ridge irrespective of the
positioning of the implant.
