As the pins have an additional groove, the surface area of the pins is increased, resulting in significantly greater stability. The pins are also characterised by their stable connection of head and shaft as well as a very sharp tip. This means that the practitioner does not have to worry about the pin bending or breaking during fixation and can position it precisely on the bone. Thanks to a unique head design, the pins can be removed safely and easily, which is particularly important after a successful healing period. Master-Core Basic Safe harvesting of bone cylinders with Prof Istvan Urban The Master-Core Basic, developed together with Prof Istvan Urban, is used for the simple and safe harvesting of bone cylinders as part of bone augmentation. The system contains trephines with different lengths and diameters for this purpose. Due to the different lengths, the trephines have an automatic depth limiter, which ensures the protection of anatomical structures and therefore enables particularly safe and controlled bone harvesting. In addition, depth markings on the working parts allow additional depth control during extraction. Master-Pin-Control Plus Pin system for membrane fixation Master-Pin-Control has been specially developed for the fixation of resorbable, non-resorbable and titanium-reinforced membranes. The Master-Pin-Control Plus contains two different types of pins. While one pin has a particularly flat head design and is therefore ideal for use under thin soft tissue, for example, the other pin has a larger head design that makes it particularly easy to locate the pins under the soft tissue after successful healing. All pins included are made of grade 5 titanium alloy and have a circumferential groove that increases the surface area of the pins. Thanks to the circumferential groove, the pins can be removed safely and easily, which is particularly important after a successful healing period. With their sharp tip and very stable shaft, they can be inserted easily and precisely into the cortical bone. For simple and safe placement of bleeding points in the cortical bone, the Master-Pin-Control Plus system also includes the 203S twist drill, which has an automatic depth stop.
