Thanks to the innovative construction of the extractor, the root can be easily removed in a particularly controlled manner without damaging bone or soft tissue. To guarantee an optimal vertical transmission of force, there must be a flat area providing a supporting surface to the extractor. The quadrant support was developed specifically to provide this optimal support while also protecting existing dentition and providing support for the extractor in case of edentulous circumstances. Root Elevator Kit Samarani Developed with Dr. Rawad Samarani The Root Elevator Kit Samarani consists of 6 elevators and a small hammer. It was specially developed by Dr. Rawad Samarani for the safe and novel POP-OUT root extraction and is used in combination with Kit BRSS2 for root sectioning. The root fragments are removed from the socket by light, horizontal hammering using the newly designed elevators. The load is applied to the fragment by means of the sophisticated angulation of the elevator’s working part, which is specifically adapted to the respective anatomical position where the extraction takes place. The laser markings on the elevators indicate the intraoral position of application (buccal, palatal / lingual). Additional elevators are included for special cases where the root to be extracted is below the level of the alveolar bone. The instruments can be conveniently sterilized directly in the tray supplied and transported safely. The elevators do not put loads on the adjacent tissue as it is the case with conventional extraction techniques. The innovative load application significantly reduces the risk of injury to soft tissue, bone or adjacent teeth. The high level of safety of this extraction technique is a decisive advantage, particularly when immediate implant placement is intended.
