System combination for the extraction and fixation of bone grafts
The Micro Screw T5 System Plus is a combined system consisting of the Trephine Ejection Kit, which enables minimally invasive harvesting of local bone cylinders, and the Micro Screw System, which is used for the secure fixation and stabilization of bone grafts. This allows the Micro Screw T5 System Plus to perform the complete workflow of the Bone Core Technique.
For the harvesting of local bone cylinders, the system includes two-part, internally cooled trephines, which, thanks to the detachable trephine working parts, make it particularly easy to push out the harvested bone cylinders using special ejection instruments.
For the subsequent fixation of the bone cylinders, the Micro Screw T5 System Plus offers osteosynthesis screws with diameters of 1.0 mm and 1.2 mm, as well as all necessary instruments for screw placement. The osteosynthesis screws are made of surgical stainless steel, which provides them with high stability despite the reduced diameter.
The combination of the two techniques in one system and the optimally coordinated instruments enable the user to follow a holistic, clear workflow when performing the Bone Core Technique and allow for the highest precision from harvesting to fixation of autologous bone cylinders.
