Benex-Control (root extraction), CBE00
Benex®-Control: Instruments for safe and minimally invasive tooth extraction
Minimally invasive preparation of the implant site is essential for an optimal implant restoration. This begins with the atraumatic extraction of teeth that are conventionally not worth preserving.
Tooth extraction is one of the most common dental surgical procedures, which usually involves the use of forceps and a lever. Developed in collaboration with Dr Benno Syfrig, Benex®-Control, developed in collaboration with Dr Benno Syfrig, offers a minimally invasive alternative. Thanks to the ingenious design of the extraction system, the tooth root and tooth root fragments can be removed using the principle of a pulley block without damaging the bone or surrounding soft tissue. The reason for this is that (in contrast to the use of forceps and levers) no stress is exerted on the lateral bone walls. Atraumatic vertical extraction is particularly patient-friendly and offers very good conditions for subsequent implant placement.
For optimum vertical force transmission, the Benex®-Control also includes a quadrant support. This ensures that the extractor lies flat and the tooth root can be removed straight. It also protects the existing residual dentition and provides a stable support for the extractor, particularly in edentulous situations.

Root Sectioning Kit Samarani 1, BRSS1
The Samarani 1 root sectioning kit consists of 6 elevators and a small hammer. It was specially developed by Dr Rawad Samarani for tissue-preserving root extraction and can be used in combination with the BRSS2 kit for root sectioning. The root fragments are removed from the socket by light, horizontal hammering using the newly designed elevators. The load is applied to the fragment through the angulation of the elevator working part, which is adapted to the respective anatomical position. The laser markings on the elevators indicate the intraoral insertion site (buccal, palatal / lingual). Additional elevators are included for special cases where the root to be extracted is below the level of the alveolar bone. The instruments can be conveniently sterilised directly in the tray supplied and transported safely. The specially shaped elevators are not supported on the neighbouring tissue as is usual with conventional extractions. The innovative load application significantly reduces the risk of injury to soft tissue, bone or neighbouring teeth. The high level of safety of this extraction technique is a decisive advantage, particularly with regard to immediate implant placement.
