One pin features an especially flat head design, making it ideal for use under thin soft tissue, for example, while the other pin has a larger head design that makes locating the pins beneath the soft tissue particularly easy after successful integration. All included pins are made from Grade 5 titanium alloy and have a circumferential groove that increases the surface area of the pins. Thanks to this groove, the pins can be securely and easily removed, which is particularly important after a successful healing period. With their sharp tip and very stable shaft, they can be easily and precisely inserted into the cortical bone.
