MEISINGER dPTFE Membrane
Micro-textured, high-density PTFE membrane
MEISINGER's dPTFE membranes are made from high-density PTFE with a pore size of less than 0.3 µm. This non-resorbable membrane is resistant to bacteria and allows for the highest level of predictability and aesthetics. When using the dPTFE membranes, primary wound closure is not necessary. The exposed PTFE membrane can be removed after at least 21 days with tweezers, without surgical intervention or additional anaesthesia. The hexagonal indentations increase the surface area, resulting in enhanced membrane stability and promoting cell adhesion without increasing porosity. For optimal results, the side with the indentations should be placed facing the soft tissue. The MEISINGER dPTFE membranes can be trimmed if needed.
