Horizontal Bone Spreading and Bone Condensing System
Controlled bone augmentation with helical spreaders and horizontal spreaders
Split-Control Plus is a combination of the proven Split-Control and Crest-Control systems and thus offers a comprehensive set of instruments for controlled alveolar ridge augmentation. It contains special screw-shaped compaction and spreading instruments (spreaders) as well as flat horizontal spreaders, which allow controlled and uniform spreading of horizontally resorbed bone. The screw-shaped spreaders also gently compact cancellous bone, while the horizontal spreaders allow the alveolar ridge to be spread by up to 5 mm. In this way, the jaw is optimally prepared for the insertion of a standard implant.
