Combined system for internal and external sinus lift
The combined Lift-Control Plus system offers coordinated instruments for both internal and external sinus floor elevation. In an internal sinus lift, the bone of the implant site is displaced towards the maxillary sinus using the elevators. This procedure is particularly suitable for augmenting small vertical deficits with a residual bone height of more than 6 mm. When performing the external sinus lift, a lateral approach is made through the fascial maxillary sinus wall and the Schneiderian membrane is dissected using the various hand instruments and lifted cranially from the floor of the maxillary sinus. A suitable bone graft can then be inserted under the Schneiderian membrane.
