Vitala® is a natural collagen membrane made from porcine pericardium.
The special manufacturing process ensures that the microporous, 3-layer structure remains intact and no cross-linking chemicals are required. This exceptional structure results in a flexible membrane with particularly high tensile strength.

Ideal adaptability for a wide range of defect morphologies

The Vitala® collagen membrane is characterised by its supple handling, pliability and ideal adaptability. As soon as the Vitala® membrane is moistened, it loses its original shape and is flexible.
It can therefore be used for a wide range of defects and defect morphologies. As the surface of the membrane is identical on both sides, it does not matter which side is placed against the defect.
